What is RFID Blocking Card?

Video (YouTube)Click me

The blocking card is the size of a credit card that is designed to protect personal information stored on high frequency (13.56mhz) smart cards, such as credit cards, debit cards, identification cards, passports, membership cards and so on.

The blocking card needs no battery. It draws energy from the scanner to power up and instantly creates an E-Field, a surround electronic field making all 13.56mhz cards invisible to the scanner. Once the scanner is out of range the blocking card de-powers

Simply carry this blocking card in your wallet and money clip and all 13.56mhz cards within range of its E-Field will be protected.

5. FrequencyNFC, 13.56MHz

If your card is contactless enabled, your card holds information within a chip. This chip also contains an antenna that picks up power from a signal sent out by a card reader. The card reader and contactless card are then able to communicate on a 13.56MHz radio wave signal when in close proximity.

This is great for convenience, but not so great when low-life criminals have a scanner……

Fortunately, there is a very simple way to keep your identity and information:

RFID Blocking Card/RFID Data Shield Card/RFID Anti-skimming Card

Simply place one card in your wallet and all surrounding cards are protected.

How it works?

The RFID Blocking card works by drawing power from the scanner, and emitting a counter-signal to jam the communication. This protects the surrounding cards within a 5cm radius (roughly).

It is the same size as a standard credit card so will fit in any wallet. It is however slightly thicker, at 1.2mm VS 0.76mm of a normal card. This is due to the internal circuitry.

What cards are vulnerable?

Any cards with the above symbol contain contactless technology. But this isn't limited to cards with this symbol. If you have tap and go key-card entry, this may contain your personal data which will use the same 13.56MHz as contactless. Also contactless enabled passports are now becoming more widespread, again offering more opportunity for data on you to be stolen.

What cards/devices does our card block?

Any card working on 13.56MHz frequency. This includes, but is not limited to:

Credit Cards/Debit Cards

Identification Cards/ Key Cards/Entry Cards

E-Passports

Mobile Phone NFC

Advantages compare to RFID blocking sleeve and wallet.

Big capacity: one RFID blocking card can protect 10-12 contactless cards (work on 13.56MHz) at least!

Safer: RFID Blocking Card innovative circuit board interior to build a stereoscopic blocking field to prevent RFID scanning from nearby scanners. But all RFID blocking sleeve use thin aluminum foil to build a” Faraday case” to lock RFID out, unfortunately, those RFID blocking sleeve’s case is incompletely closed.

More convenience: easy to active “tap and go” temporary, no forget to put into sleeve again and again.

More durable: those cheap sleeves are easy to broken.

More fashion: no change to your wallet, no need to buy a new wallet.
